With Avance, we offer full support for the world’s most popular open standards: Zhaga, TALQ, and NEMA. This gives our customers complete freedom of choice, without vendor lock‑in — now and in the future.
Avance also features Sustainder’s proven cassette system, allowing easy integration of sensors on both the top and bottom of the luminaire. But Avance is not only smart and versatile: its lighting performance is equally impressive.

Zhaga, TALQ and NEMA
With Avance, we take things a step further. Our current luminaires already support Zhaga‑D4i and TALQ, but with Avance we expand this with full support for NEMA. These open standards are fully integrated into our trusted cassette system.
Developments in smart‑city applications are moving at lightning speed, but with Avance you’re always well prepared for the future. Avance is the first luminaire to support such a wide range of globally recognized open standards.
Sensors on top and bottom
At the core of Avance lies the familiar cassette system — just like its sister models Anne, Aspira, and Alexia. What makes Avance unique is the option to integrate sensors on both the top and bottom sides of the cassette. The cassette system can also be replaced on location, entirely tool‑free, within a short time — ideal for upgrades or maintenance.
Very high lumen output
Avance is built in the Netherlands to the highest quality standards and uses the latest LED technology with exceptional efficiency and light output (up to 34,400 lumens). This makes the luminaire perfectly suited for highways and main roads, as well as industrial environments such as ports and industrial zones.
Cloud Platform
As always, Avance is built on open hardware (24/230V) and comes standard with integrated wireless connectivity. This allows remote management through our GRIP cloud platform or easy integration with other control systems. For custom integrations, we also provide access to our API — including full documentation.
Sustainable and smart
By supporting the world’s most popular open standards and offering sensor integration on both the top and bottom sides through its modular cassette, Avance is the most interoperable luminaire on the market.
